HOW IT WORKS
Step 1: Contact Us
Let us know what you want from our current line up and we can begin the process of brainstorming ideas and your Blackwater bike will be born. Let us know if you want a complete bike built up with brand new parts or your own parts, or if you just want the frame itself. From this we can give you an accurate estimate of the price of the bike/frame. You can also toggle our drop down menus on our Bikes Page to see what the cost of each additional kit would be.

Step 2: Deposit
We will need a non-refundable 30% deposit of the frame cost to begin the CAD drawings of your design. We will share the CAD drawings with you to confirm you are happy with everything we have included on the frame and finalize the design.
Step 3: Fabrication Process Begins
Once you give the green light, the fabrication process begins which will take 3-4 months to complete. The time of completion depends on the current queue of frames being produced.
Step 4: Paint
Stock paint is included in the price and can be the front black and rear brushed titanium as pictured on the 3 Notch or the bike can be all titanium with “Blackwater” decals placed on the downtube. If you want to go all out and have the frame custom painted. There will be a $400-$1000 upcharge depending on the complexity of the paint work. Just communicate with us and we can give you a proper estimate.
Step 5: Build Up Your Bike
Your bike will be professionally assembled and ready for UPS shipment to your front door.
Step 6: Go RIDE!
Once your bike shows up, take it to your LBS to have it assembled. Now that you have the bike of your dreams, go ride it! If you have any questions or concerns after you receive your Blackwater bike, please reach out. The complete process should take no longer than 4-5 months depending on the current production queue.
